en route to cleavland

We woke up this morning after staying at a state park in New York state. We're now on the road through pensylvania and into OHIO. I'm really interested in seeing urban centers crawling with people, whereas my dad is much more into seeing the scenery. I keep telling him "a tree is a tree" but that doesn't stop him. I haven't shot anything great yet but I did stop in at a Henry's yesterday to buy a new polarizer (B+W goodie!) and 2 rolls of black and white illford film. Word of advice to anyone travelling, you'll probably doing a lot of sightseeing during the day where there's a lot of glare from the sun. Bring a polarizer and some ND's along with you for goodness sake because sometimes they're a lifesaver.

Soon we'll be in Cleavland and I think we're both looking forward to seeing the city. We're not really sure where to go but it's worked out so far. We're hoping to go from cleavland over to Chicago (my dad really doesn't want to go) and from there we'll go to Indiannapolis and Missouri to visit some relatives. The first few days we calculated driving about 700 KM a day, but now we're taking it slower and stopping a lot more. Anyway, hopefully i'll have some awesome photos soon but for now you'll have to settle with this. Niagra falls at night!

  1. That shot of Niagra looks gorgeous (although I wish it was bigger), I am so jealous right now. When you visit grandma, make sure you take a walk down the gorge behind her house, it's quite lovely and you can find fossils there!
